Hello, my name is Angie
and I am the owner and primary caregiver of Angela's Lil' Angels
Child Care. I want to thank you for visiting this site. I have
been a licensed family daycare since June of 2006. Why did I
choose to become a Family Day Care Provider you may ask? The
answer is simple. My little peanut. After being an
Interior Designer for 7 years and working at a job I loved at Boston
Store corporate in Milwaukee, my daughter Chloe made me take the
leap. It was simply too hard to leave her in daycare everyday.
The only option to be home with her was to start my own daycare.
Since starting daycare, I have had 2 more children and I am so
fortunate to be staying home with them.
I have always loved working with children.
Becoming a daycare provider allows me to interact with children and
teach them at a young age.
I have a Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture
from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I continued my
education by going to Mount Mary College for a masters degree in art
education when I got my job at Boston Store. I currently have
all required childcare courses from the state of Wisconsin as well as
keeping current certification in adult, child and infant CPR.
Every year, I complete over 30 hours of continuing education.
I strive to provide a fun, safe, loving home like
atmosphere for children to learn and grow at their own pace. I
truly believe that all children are gifts from God and should be
treated as such. This includes lots of love, patience,
understanding, and respect. Children need to feel safe when they
are not with their parents. Parents need to feel that their
children are safe even when they are not with them. It is my job
and duty to make sure that all of this happens.
Starting the summer of 2011, I have begun taking
classes at Alverno College in a post-bachelorette program to get my
teaching certificate in Early Childhood/Middle Childhood.
